JI forms team to take stock of Kashmir flood damages

Srinagar: Jamaat Islami Jammu and Kashmir formed a central team that will take stock of the damages in the flood hit areas of the valley of Kashmir.

The delegation comprises of Nazir Ahmad Raina, Naib Ameer Jamaat and political bureau chief Adv. Zahid Ali. The delegation has started its tour on 18th September 2014 from the Islamabad district. According to press release JI the team has so for identified the number of completely collapsed houses in the following villages of Islamabad district :

Naibasti Islamabad 3 houses collapsed.

Dahruna Dooru 26 houses collapsed.

Hilad Kokernag 8 houses collapsed.

Trahpoo Achabal 1 house collapsed.

Kanjigund Bijbehara 41 houses collapsed.

Guree 4 houses collapsed.

Urnhal 44 houses collapsed.

Sethar 12 houses collapsed.

Halmula 4 houses collapsed.

Kaypora 12 houses collapsed.

Marhama 50 houses collapsed.

Arwani 17 houses collapsed.

Hasanpora Tawala 142 houses collapsed.

Laktipora 7 houses collapsed.

Poshateng 2 houses collapsed.

Semthan 25 houses collapsed.

Hasanpora bagh 20 houses collapsed.

Jablipora 40 houses collapsed.

It is in addition to the vast damage to standing crops and paddy crop and other standing structures and animals and house hold belongings.
